Banana Ketchup

Banana ketchup, a popular condiment in the Philippines, is now available for your dining table! Also known as banana sauce, this sweet ketchup is made from mashed bananas, sugar, vinegar and spices. It was created due to a shortage of tomatoes needed to make regular ketchup during World War II. Due to its popularity, it’s still a favorite sauce of many today. In Filipino households, it’s commonly served on fried eggs, burgers, pork, chicken, and more.
