The taste is good....except....the poppy is not ground. Poppy seeds should be ground before putting them in a poppy seed roll. I have made the filling from scratch for years...and as my Grandma and Mom always did...I grind the poppy. My Mom actually had a poppy seed grinder from Germany....I prefer the electric coffee grinder. I loved the convenience but really prefer the seeds ground.Rosella, Menifee, CA
