Whole grain teff is a cereal grass of North Africa and the smallest known grain. It is very nutritious with a pleasant, light flavor.
It is the smallest grain in the world (about 100 grains are the size of a kernel of wheat!). The germ and bran, where the nutrients are concentrated, account for a larger volume of the seed compared to more familiar grains. Cooked whole grain teff makes a unique hot breakfast cereal similar in consistency and texture to wheat farina.
How to Cook Teff
Cooking Instructions: Add 1/2-cup teff grain to 2 cups boiling water or stock. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 15 – 20 minutes or until water is absorbed. Stir occasionally.
Teff Storage
Store teff in tightly sealed plastic or glass containers in a cool, dry, dark cabinet for up to 6 months.
There are approximately 2 1/2 cups per pound.
Ingredients:
Whole grain teff Packaged in the same facility as peanuts, tree nuts, soy, sesame, and milk products.

This grain makes a very tasty porridge for breakfast. It has a better taste than other gluten-free grains. And I really appreciate how FAST it was shipped.
