Whole Wheat Couscous is a coarsely ground semolina pasta made from the hard part of the wheat. It makes an excellent side dish instead of rice. It tastes great when mixed with other herbs, meats, or fish. Cooking Instructions: 1. Boil 1-1/4 cups of water, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of butter in a saucepan; 2. Stir in 1 cup of couscous; 3. Cover and remove from heat, let stand for 5 minutes.

This couscous is a very easy & delicious way to put whole wheat grain into my veggie stews. I add a quarter cup of couscous to the hot, cooked stew and wait a bit. After a few minutes, the couscous is softened up and ready to eat.
