Organic Soft White Spring Wheat Berries
Organic all natural soft white spring wheat berries are great for baking. Soft White Spring Wheat which is lower in protein and higher in carbohydrates than the Hard Wheat varieties and its flour is therefore better suited for pastries, cookies, muffins, cakes, pancakes, and waffles.
How to Cook Soft White Spring Wheat Berries
In a saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of soft white spring wheat berries, 1 3/4 cups of water, and 1/4 tsp of salt. Bring to a rolling boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for one hour or until tender. Drain and set aside to cool or serve immediately.
There are approximately 2 1/4 cups per pound.
