Organic White Flour (Unbleached)
Organic all natural unbleached white flour is milled from a blend of organic hard red spring wheat classes. This flour is perfect for baking.
Both the bran and the germ have been removed leaving the endosperm that is made into white flour. Regular unbleached white flour is enriched to government specifications and is unbromated. This is the same high protein flour used by professional bakers and produces high, well- textured loaves of bread. Our Organic Unbleached White Flour is not enriched.
Quinoa Bread for the Bread Machine
Ingredients: 1-1/8 cups Water (room temperature), 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter (room temperature), 2 tsp Sugar, 1 tsp Sea Salt, 1/2 cup Organic Quinoa Flour, 2-1/2 cups White Flour, Unbleached, 1-1/2 tsp Yeast, Active Dry.
Directions: Add all ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine cycle and process on the sweet or basic bread cycle according to the manufacturer’s directions. When finished, remove bread from baking pan and let cool for 15 minutes before slicing.
Makes 1-1/2 lb loaf (13 slices).
There are approximately 3 1/4 cups per pound.
