Makrut Lime Leaves (Thai Lime Leaves)
Dried Makrut lime leaves are an extremely rare, one-of-a-kind cooking ingredient that you need in your pantry! Commonly used in Thai and Vietnamese cuisines, these citrus fruit leaves lend a fragrant aroma and elegant flavor to recipes. Our premium Makrut lime leaves from Thailand can add a striking flavor to chicken, fish and curry dishes. They can also be used to enhance hot and sour soup.
Cooking with Makrut Lime Leaves
Thanks to their bright citrus flavor, these lime leaves are a welcome addition to many Southeast Asian cuisines including curries, coconut-based dishes, basmati rice and fish entrees. The heat and moisture of cooking enables these leaves to impart their intense aroma and flavor in nearly any dish to which you add them.
Makrut lime leaves are especially wonderful paired with common Thai ingredients such as chillies, ginger and shallots. Similar to bay leaves, they should be removed from the dish prior to serving, and should not be eaten. Makrut lime leaves also work in desserts alongside flavors like coconut and cardamom. They can lend an enticing brightness to cocktail drinks as well.
Our Makrut lime leaves are non-GMO.

Up until now, these have been impossible to find in the States. This will bring Thai and other Asian dishes to the next level.Gregory, Las Vegas, NV
Extremely hard to find yet so many of my Thai recipes call for this. I'm delighted that my fav online vendor carries this!Susan, Downers Grove, IL
I love Thai food, and many of my recipes call for this ingredient, which is not sold in any grocery store I know. Thank goodness for Nuts.com!Melissa, Philadelphia, PA
Most of the leaves were completely crushed, therefore unusable, since you have to remove them from the finished dish - an impossible task when dealing with tiny pieces of leaves. Very disappointed.Susan, Saint Charles, MO
