How to Cook Squid Ink Gemelli Pasta
Bring four quarts of salted water to a boil. Add the entire bag of Squid Ink Gemelli Pasta. Continue to boil on high heat, stirring occasionally. Once the water returns to a rolling boil (approx. two minutes) lower the heat. Continue cooking for 5-7 minutes, checking for doneness. Drain pasta and mix with sauce as desired.

When cooking pasta dishes, you actually want the opposite! Artisanal pastas are extruded through a bronze die and made with a super-coarse grind of durum wheat, which allows the pasta to dry more slowly and at a lower temperature than conventional pastas. Love "black pasta" and these are wonderful cooked with a puttanesca sauce (or any sauce you like). I wish your pasta source would offer squid ink linguini or fettuccini.
