Sweet White Rice
Sweet White Rice, often referred to as dessert sushi rice because of its slightly sweet flavor and sticky texture, is ideal for forming sushi or other Asian dishes that are eaten with chopsticks. The flavor of our sweet rice makes luscious rice pudding.
1 cup Sweet Rice
1 3/4 cup Water
Bring water to a boil. Add rice and cover. Bring back to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes and fluff with a fork.
There are approximately 2 1/4 cups per pound.
