What is raw cacao powder?
Organic raw cacao powder is created by taking the nibs and then cold-pressing the oil out. When the oil is removed from the nibs, what results is dense, nutritionally packed dry mass. This mass is then ground into fine powder. Throughout this process every precaution is taken to ensure that no heat is used and maximum potency results.

This cacao powder is delicious and fresh. I like that I can enjoy chocolate flavor without added white sugar. My favorite way to use this is mixed with organic sugar-free and salt-free peanut butter (so just peanuts!) and a small amount of local organic maple syrup, It's pretty thick but you can still spread it on bread or crackers. I haven't tried other brands of cacao powder, I just thought that everything else that I buy from Nuts.com is excellent, so I'll stick with this product.
