Great price for a great product. 4 ounces may seem small but it’s a lot once hydrated. I use them nearly everyday for an easy soup. Wish they still had more mushroom varieties.

9/03/23 Hard to find! Really appreciated how clean and succulent each were! Due to dehydration, Need about half hr of rehydration covered, with boiling water. Extremely light due to dehydration, and easily back-packed to cook later. Highly recommend.

Use frequently! Dont disintegrate during cooking; even when rehydrated . Hard to find. Great product. Always looking for dehydrated light products. Mixed into scrambled eggs, Spaghetti sauces and soups. Recommend.

I make a lot of miso-like soup, and these mushrooms are perfect for giving that umami flavor. They have a great, balanced flavor that adds so much to broths. The product was fresh, nicely packaged.

These amazingly flavorful mushrooms are to me the essence of shroom. Best anchor flavor for soups, sauces, gravies stews: you name it.

Excellent adds delicious flavor

High quality dried mushrooms, nicely packaged, not broken or "dusty." They are a bit tough, even when well-cooked, but are great to throw into soups for added flavor and texture.

I use this to start a mushroom broth for my mushroom soups. They are great.

Used this in my beef barley soup in the crockpot. Not sure if dried mushrooms are for me yet. Fresh may still be the key.

Such a pleasant surprise. Four oz. of Shiitake Mushrooms are a lot of mushrooms. I expected something like you see in the grocery store. Instead, they were large pieces in a plastic container. Very pleased!

Love soaking these in water and then adding them to my fish dishes with Teriyaki sauce or sweet bourbon glaze and simmer in a covered frying pan. They have a very long life unlike fresh mushrooms and add a lovely flavor to my fish dishes.

I keep these porcini mushrooms on hand for soups, sauces, and mushroom risotto. They are a very good value compared to the tiny packages for $5.99 at the local grocery store.

I used a handful Porcini's in my meat and veggie soup this weekend. I also used the water (strained) I soaked them as part of the broth. WOW, it had so much depth in flavor. Really added a richness to the soup. Very pleased!
