I'm lactose intolerant, so finding tasty snacks with chocolate can be a bit of a challenge (especially when sites don't provide a dairy-free filter, and yes that's different than a vegetarian or vegan filter). Even dark chocolates run a risk of having dairy in them. This product thankfully does not. Sure, there's a cross contamination risk being made and packaged in a facility that handles other products with dairy, but thankfully that's usually a negligible concern for me. So finding a dark chocolate that isn't harshly bitter is great, and the raisins are still bright and noticeable. The chocolate is on the thick side, so it does make it harder to notice the raisins, so that's my only quibble with this product. Just a little thinner chocolate and it would be perfect, but I'll still reorder these as is.

I honestly should have paid more attention to the photo. I was not expecting a NUGGET size chocolate covered raisin. Honestly thought the wrong product was sent (like chocolate covered cherries) or maybe there was a cluster of raisins in each nugget. Nope! It is a single raisin covered in 1/4" thick chocolate shell. The dark chocolate is good a bit sweet and probably closer to the 60% cacao range. So if you are looking for a more traditional chocolate covered raisin, these are not for you. If you want dark chocolate with a hint of raisin then you will love these.
