As a former coffee roaster and fan of good coffee, I must say this is exceptionally good coffee. And coffee originated in Ethiopia when the goat herders noticed their animals would get all pepped up when they chewed the berries from the coffee plant. And most of us today could use a "pep-up" right?Mike, Gig Harbor, WA

I was sucked in by the reference on the web site for this product that described intense blueberry flavor...and I knew it was a viennese roast, but this is roasted beyond that in my opinion. It is so dark that the beans are completely oily rather than traces of oil on the beans, and pretty much all I can taste is that kind of charred taste that comes with dark roasts. I don't like it! But I gave it an extra star beyond one because it did arrive fresh, the grounds bubbled when I added the hot water to my pour over. If you like dark roast, you may like this. I'll sell you mine at a discount!Art, Tacoma, WA

I'm so glad you still carry Ethiopian Harrar! It's my favourite coffee of all time, and very hard to find. Nothing else has that earthy flavour and opaque cup I crave in a morning cup of coffee.R, Brookline, MA

Dark black and full-flavored, but much smoother than I expected. This is only after one pot of French pressed espresso-roast. I will experience different characteristics as I try different variations of coffee amounts in the French press.Philip, Erie, PA
