Nutritional yeast is grown on enriched purified cane and beet molasses under carefully controlled conditions. With the addition of vitamin B12, it is an ideal vegetarian support formula and has an appealing cheese flavor. It can be sprinkled over popcorn or salads, added to juice, cereal, smoothies, gravies, soups or casseroles, or used to make sandwich spreads.
There are approximately 9 1/2 cups per pound.

Inactive Nutritional Yeast [Dried Yeast, Niacin (Vitamin B3), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Thiamin Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1), Folic Acid, Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12)]. Never had this before but it has a delicious taste. Did I want it for lowering cholesterol or having more energy? Don't remember why I bought it but am at least using it as a table condiment. Will try a few teaspoons for fiber.. but it was definitely a good buy ... I'm a little older & this makes me feel stronger.
