This not so typical review will actually be for multiple products. (Raisin Medley, Currents, Red and Green Cherries, etc), and the glazed mixed peel. My mother had her own recipe for Holiday Fruitcake. It is probably over 100 years old now. My brother was a huge fan of it, and a few years ago I attempted to make Mom’s recipe. Her recipe was one of those: a handful of this and a spoonful of that….recipes. It took me a few tries, but I have now replicated the recipe, and make a couple of cakes as gifts every year around the holidays. Nuts.com has been my source for ingredients for a few years now, and the results have been worth it. I am told, this fruitcake is great, and I will continue the tradition of making it for special gifts for special people. Thanks Mom for the recipe, and Thanks Nuts.Com for making a memory come back to life, even better,
