Two pounds of these get cooked in an electric skillet in 3/4 of a pound of butter. The skillet is set to 300 degrees. They cook for approximately 45 minutes while being stirred constantly. The peanuts are removed from the skillet with a spoon that has holes so the butter can drain. They are spread on a large tray covered with paper towels. A light coating of salt adds the final touch.
