Great for homemade candy.

It's great to finally find coconut that does not have preservatives in it. I am highly allergic to sodium metabisulfites so I cannot use what they sell in the local stores. With this, I am now able to fix old family recipes that I use to enjoy before developing allergies. Thank You!!!

Fantastic! Fresh and yummy. :)

ground up some pitted dates, figs and dried apricots and rolled them into quater sized balls and then rolled them in this finely ground macaroon coconut and some in ground walnuts. Made about a hundred of them and they lasted almost one day. Everyone couldn't get enough of them. They're sweet and succulent and even better, they're much healthier than candy and cookies.

It was a little flavorless. Smelled wonderful but tasted bland. I guess if it was sweetened it may have been better.

The dried coconut is just delicious. It is lightly sweetened and soft and chewy like coconut meat. I had a hard time closing the bag, its better than candy!

Expected soft creamy center. I’ve never had chocolate covered coconut that contained hard chunks of whole coconut. Could not eat it. Had to throw it away

As a coconut lover, this is by far the best item that Nuts sells. It is great on it's own or cut into smaller pieces and added to a mix of dried fruits and nuts. Value at it's best.

I’m on my second one-pound bag. The freshness is par with the other products you offer. The flavor is very pleasant and coconut-y. The chips are a great size as I can use them as is, or pulse them in a food processor. I’ve toasted them for my Coconut Date Balls, use raw in my hearty salads, add to my smoothies. I even munch on them directly out of the bag when watching tv. I will buy again.

The image shown is for the non-organic coconut. The organic coconut is a very short (about 1/4" length) shred. Flavor isn't bad, but it is a very different texture (a bit drier & more crumbly than the non-organic) and results in a different presentation than the non-organic. If flavor is the deciding factor, this is a good product. If the long strands are desired for a nice presentation, go with the non-organic variant.

These have a sq. of coconut in the middle, then surrounded by the chocolate. Yummy w a textured feel.

I use shredded coconut to put in lots of different things (granola, homemade Lara bars, baking etc.), this size bag will last a long time.

Exactly as pictured. Exactly as I expected with texture/flavor. Only reason I'm giving a 4/5 is because they taste too sweet with the added sugar. I think the ones are Trader Joes are a little less sweet and that's how I'd prefer them.

Hmm, tastes like coconut Naturally sweet coconut shavings. Eat them right out of the bag. I'm going to try them in a recipe when I feel imaginative.
