Received the Pine Nuts and they are harder than Macadamia Nuts...they are nice and large and the birds love them! Bebe & Nicole,two Shamrock Macaw youngsters(6 months),fidgeted all around until I gave them some and although Nicole got hers popped open right away,Bebe the younger brother,worked on his for about 10 minutes and finally I heard it pop! They work hard for their treats,thank you so much. These are two of the 85 birds we have at the Rescue. Wow, in less than two days I was chomping on delicious delectables from nuts.com. They're right- they ARE nuts- about deliveries, that is!

Long story. Last week I made Italian pignoli cookies using pine nuts from Trader Joe's. Don't know if it was a bad batch, but I had an awful bitter taste in my mouth for several days. Some online research revealed that some people are sensitive to pine nuts from China, where most of them are grown these days. NutsOnline to the rescue - one of the few sources of European pine nuts. Ordered yesterday, can't believe UPS brought them today, just in time to bake up a new batch of cookies for New Year's Eve. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

We received our order in 3 days!!!!!!! The nuts are delicious. My 4 year old has a bunch of hazelnuts in one hand and Turkish fig in the other. I can't wait to make some pesto with whatever pine nuts are left after my hubby surrenders the bag. Oh, and did I mention the quinoa 5lb bag was at the fabulous price of 3.87/lb??!!!! Once again, I am thrilled with my order, very prompt delivery, as usual. The nuts all look fabulous. I just wanted to share that this particular order was for my macaw, Willow(don't tell her, but we eat some too!). I opened up each of the five bags and gave her a few of each, she took a pistachio first and as she ate it, she exclaimed " mmmmm, that's good". These are the best pine nuts I've ever tasted. I will not buy them elsewhere. They are worth every penny. Tonight we had them lightly toasted over sauteed dino kale. Fantastic. Loved the Mediterranean pine nuts! I had a bout with Pine Mouth Syndrome and heard it may be linked to Chinese pine nuts. Was so happy to see that yours were really from the Mediterranean in origin. I ordered two packs of pine nuts on Monday night and received them on Tuesday evening.It was just as I had expected!All the nuts were large and fresh looking minus the shriveled pieces and debris that I had encountered in pine nuts from another company. My macaws were so excited to see the green bags - they know their pine nuts and salt-free pistachios are in there. They also relished the sunflower seeds. In Toronto (Canada), the only pine nuts available for years are really lousy Chinese ones, sometimes the "Pine Mouth" ones. We'd almost given up but decided to try Nutsonline Mediterranean pine nuts. These pine nuts are the real thing - delicious. I suffered from "pine nut mouth" - a horrible metallic taste in my mouth after eating pine nuts (mixed species probably) from China sold at large-scale retailers. I was afraid to try pine nuts again - but I had no side effect from nutsonline nuts. Please keep providing your pure products!

Very Fast Service. I have a 22 year old Goffin Cockatoo that considers "Raw Pine Nuts" his favorite. I have always given him a wide variety of foods to eat. And in his 22 years of life he has never been sick. What he turns down I toss to the chickens. When the cage door is open he has free flight through out the house and usually rides around perched on my head, preening what is left of my hair and loves to shower under the kitchen faucet. He doesn't like the dried fruits and vegi's or kibble, that come in most parrot mixes, or cooked human food. His father was one of the last wild caught birds brought into this country before than ban was enacted, and as a baby, before I acquired him, he was not hand fed, so his food demands are for things as nature would supply. Definitely not "Dehydrated". Raw green beans, Raw Potato, Vidalia Onion, and other vegetables. Walnuts, Pecans, Brazil Nuts and raw Pistachios are among his regular diet. But his favorite is Pine Nuts, he will scoop out his whole dish looking for them and for some reason my former supplier quit carrying them. So you will most likely be hearing from me again.
