They sound like something out of a wizarding world, but horehounds are, in fact, a now-uncommon old-time candy. These hard, sugar-coated sucking candies are flavored with the horehound herb. Horehounds are known for soothing a sore throat. Offer a bag of horehounds as a "get well" gesture to someone you love!

I like horehounds!

C
Claudia

Perfect for dry throat just like I used to get in the old fashioned general store at Knotts Berry Farm, like Dr Pepper or Root Beer or Cream Soda in a cough drop

G
Ginny Haigh

I've been getting horehounds for umpteen years. They are somewhat hard to find. I like these but I would like the flavor to be a bit stronger. They are still a treat for me and I will continue to order them once in a while.

K
Karen

Reminds me of one of my great-aunts who carried a small paper bag of them in her purse. She insisted they were much better than mints or other drops.

I Been looking for these candies for along time and I finally found them. Thank you so much for all of these candies.

D
Diane

Have always liked these and have ordered from claey but you Re so convenient and have too many other goidies

r
roger

They are not nearly as flavorful or potent as the ones my grandmother always had in her pocketbook. And they seem to be getting "weaker" and much less like a horehound and more like a piece of rock candy. Sad.
