Oat Bran (Fine)
Our oat bran is made from excellent quality de-hulled oats and finely ground. Cook oat bran on the stove into delicious a hot cereal. Oat bran is also a healthful addition to baked goods like muffins or in smoothies. This wholesome grain is a great source of protein, fiber and iron.
Health Benefits of Oat Bran
One serving of oat bran offers nine grams of protein and eight grams of dietary fiber—more than double that of regular oatmeal. Oat bran contains vitamin B, which bolsters the circulatory system. One serving offers 78% of the daily recommended value for thiamin. Certain grains such as oat bran also contain iron, more typically found in meats and leafy vegetables. Iron helps oxygen circulate throughout the body and boosts energy. Oatmeal offers less than half the iron that oat bran does.
How to Cook Oat Bran
