Tasted like 'candied' fruit.(that may have been in the description and I missed it). The edges of the fruit are hard and the inside is a little less so. I thought I'd be able to suck on these like I do other dehydrated fruit ( I can't chew due to an illness) but that's not the company's fault. Product came super fast. And a great deal for what you get.
