Don't know if it was a bad batch, but I had an awful bitter taste in my mouth for several days. Some online research revealed that some people are sensitive to pine nuts from China, where most of them are grown these days. NutsOnline to the rescue - one of the few sources of European pine nuts. Wine is nauseating. All foods are rendered bitter and foul. And it lasts for two weeks. TJ's gave me my money back. Caveat: Whole foods carries them too. Asian "Pine nuts" (Pinus Koraiensis) are not from the same species. These real mediterranean pine nuts (Pinus Pinea) are worth every penny if you love pignoli nuts.”
