Bath Bombs

Are you looking to make your own bath bomb fizzy?

Drop a bath bomb into your bathtub and step into a relaxing escape. After your bath, your skin is left with the wonderful scent of the fragrance you made your homemade bath bomb with - and as a bonus of your home made bath bomb, your skin will be left soft and smooth.

Dry ingredients: (By Weight)

- Baking Soda - 8 ounces
- Citric Acid - 4 ounces Citric Acid

- Corn Starch - 4 ounces
- Sea Salt - 4 ounces

Wet Ingredients:

- Water - .75 tbsp
- Essential or Fragrance Oil - 2 tsp
- Vegetable or Nut Oil - 2.5 tbsp
- Food coloring - 1 or 2 drops

Step 1: Blend the Dry Ingredients:
Put all of your dry ingredients into a large glass bowl. Whisk to get the clumps out. You want a fairly smooth consistency throughout the entire mix.

Step 2: Mix liquid and blend dry and liquids together:
Mix all your wet ingredients together in a small jar. Then, while whisking, slowly add small amounts of the liquid to your dry ingredients. Add about a teaspoon at a time to avoid foam. When all of the wet ingredients have been added, you should have a mixture with the consistency of slightly damp sand.

Step 3: Mold Quickly:
Once your mixture is together, you have a pretty limited amount of time in which to get it into molds. You can use any shape, but a lot of people like to use a hollow ball like a Christmas ornament. You should have enough for 4 bath bombs.

Step 4: Unmold and Let Dry:
You don't need to leave them in the mold for very long (1-2 minutes). Take them out of the molds and enjoy!!!
