Black Walnut Fudge

Recipe Ingredients:
3 6 ounce packages chocolate chips
1 13 ounce jar marshmallow cream
2 tbsp vanilla
4 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 13 ounce can condensed milk
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 cups cup <a href="/nuts/walnuts/black.html">Black Walnuts</a>

Cooking Directions:
1.  Combine chips and marshmallow in large bowl and set aside.

2.  Combine remaining ingredients except nuts in a large heavy saucepan and boil for 5 or 6 minutes, or until of a thick syrupy consistency.

3.  Immediately pour syrup over chips and marshmallow and beat until completely smooth and mixture begins to stiffen around edges a little. Add nuts and beat in well.

4.  Pour into 2 8x8x2" baking pans. Chill until very firm. Cut into squares. Yield: 48 bars
