Recipe for Hazelnut Sugar Cookies

Recipe Ingredients:
1/2  cup unsalted butter
3/4  cup sugar
1/2  tsp vanilla
1 2/3  cups all purpose flour
tsp cream of tarta
1/2  tsp baking soda
1/.4  tsp salt
1/4  cup finely ground Roasted Hazelnuts

Cooking Directions:
1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream butter with sugar. Add egg and vanilla and blend well. Mix the remaining dry ingredients and add to butter and egg mixture. Stir in hazelnuts.

2.  Form dough into a disk, wrap in plastic and chill for 4 hours or overnight. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick on a lightly floured board and cut into shapes with star-shaped cookie cutters. Continue rolling dough scraps, chilling briefly if dough becomes too soft to handle. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on racks.
