||cups brown sugar, firmly packed
||cup granulated sugar
||Combine sugars and water in saucepan.
||Cook mixture until it reaches 238 F or forms a soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat, add pecans.
||Return to heat and bring again to a boil.
||Remove from heat and stir until syrup becomes slighly cloudy (mixture will be thin).
||Pour large spoonfuls of mixture on waxed paper to form pralines.
