Black Walnut Praline Pork Chops and Apples

Recipe Ingredients:
4 Pork Chops 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
1/2 cup <a href="/nuts/walnuts/black.html">Black Walnuts</a>
2 Granny Smith apples, diced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp <a href="/seedsspices/crushed-red-pepper.html">Crushed Red Pepper</a>

Cooking Directions:
1.  Gingerly season both sides of the pork chops with pepper and salt. In a nonstick skillet over medium high heatsear the pork chops on both sides. After searing, lower the heat to medium. Add the black walnuts and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until the pork chops are done, approximately 3-4 minutes.
