Recipe for Candied Pecans Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:
tsp pure vanilla extract
tsp vegetable oil
1/4  cup water
3/4  tsp salt
cup granulated sugar
2 1/2  cups Georgia Pecans
tsp cinnamon

Cooking Directions:
1.  Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Combine oil and pecans in a flat baking sheet and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring frequently.

2.  Combine the rest of the ingredients, not including vanilla, and cook in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Boil the mixture to 236 degrees using a candy thermometer.

3.  Remove from heat and blend in vanilla. Add pecans and stir until the mixture is creamy.

4.  Lay individual pecans out on wax paper to cool. Enjoy.
