Recipe for Macadamia Nut Cookie Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:
3 1/2  ounces Macadamia Nuts
cup flaked coconut
1/2  cup softened butter
1 1/2  cups quick oats
1/2  cup vegetable shortening
1/2  cup buttermilk
1 1/4  firmly packed brown sugar
1/2  tsp eash salt and baking soda.
1/4  cup honey
eggs lightly beaten
tsp baking powder
1 1/2  tsp pure vanilla

Cooking Directions:
1.  Cream butter and shortening until smooth. Add sugar and honey. Beat until fluffy. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Alternately stir flour mixture and buttermilk into creamed mixture. Stir in oats, coconut, and nuts.

2.  Grease baking sheets. Drop dough onto sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.
