Macadamia Nut Crunchies

Recipe Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup mashed ripe banana (about 2 medium bananas)
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup, no sugar added pineapple fruit spread
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup <a href="/driedfruit/coconut/unsweeted-chips.html">Coconut Chips</a>
3-1/2 ounces <a href="/nuts/macadamianuts/raw.html">Macadamia Nuts</a>

Cooking Directions:
1.  Preheat oven to 375F. Combine egg, banana, butter, fruit spread and vanilla in medium bowl. Add flour, coconut, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in nuts. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks. Store in tightly covered container.
