||Butter (1/2 lb)
||Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
||Melt butter in bowl and add brown sugar, 6 eggs, corn syrup and vanilla. Cream well. Add half of pecans to mixture and mix well.
||Pour into pie shell and add enough pecans to make a design on top.
||Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or a little less. Put on a rack to cool.
||This recipe makes filling for 3 pies. For 6 pies, double ingredients.
