Oat Flour

Whole grain oat flour is freshly milled from whole grain oat groats, and includes all the nutritious germ, bran and endosperm; nothing is added or removed. Oat flour has a subtle, sweet whole grain flavor. Oats are an excellent source of dietary fiber, plus they can reduce serum cholesterol levels in the body. Oats are higher in protein and healthy fats, and lower in carbohydrates than most other whole grains. Add some healthy and tasty whole grain oat flour to your baking recipe. You can also use oat flour as a thickener or for breading. It can replace 20% of the flour in any recipe. Use oat flour to make pancake mix, pie crust, muffins, biscuits or bread.
