I initially bought this product to use in muffins. For decades, I have used Borden's NoneSuch mincemeat along with other dried fruit in my Jamaican fruitcake, but Borden's discontinued that product and my fruitcakes have not been the same. However, just last week, I decided to use the diced cinnamon apples to make Borden's copycat mincemeat (without actual meat or suet) and it was out of the world awesome .... tasted just like Borden's mincemeat. I also made a batch of mincemeat using fresh apples and it did not taste as good as the batch with the diced cinnamon apples from Nuts.com. So, I have ordered 3 bags of this product to make more mincemeat!!!
