||Rinse and sort Fava Beans; do not soak. Place in a medium to large saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 40-45 minutes, or until soft. Beans will begin to break apart as they cook. Overcooking may result in mushy beans. One cup of dry beans yields approximately 3 cups cooked beans.
