Cooking Directions: |

Mix together thoroughly the shortening, butter, sugar, eggs, and lemon extract. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into the creamed mixture. Add chips and nuts; mix well.

Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until light brown. Cool slightly, then remove from sheet. Makes about 6 dozen crisp and tasty cookies.
