Cinnamon Sticks

Cinnamon sticks add fragrant spice and aromatic appeal to hot beverages and are used in sweet and savory dishes alike. Add these cassia cinnamon sticks to ciders, cocoa, coffee, or as a decoration in your kitchen. Grind and add to any baked good as well. Our cinnamon sticks are all natural and from the bark of the cinnamon tree.
These sticks are approximately 3 inches in length.
Our cinnamon is harvested from the inner bark of tropical evergreen trees. The bark is peeled off in strips, which naturally curl up into cinnamon quills as they dry. Ground cinnamon is the powdered version of this bark. One cinnamon stick is approximately equivalent to one teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
The sweet and woody fragrance that cinnamon brings to beverages and dishes comes from the bark’s aromatic essential oil. Cinnamon sticks can be used in place of spoons for stirring hot beverages like tea and apple cider, so that the bark will begin to dissolve, adding the spice’s signature flavor to the drink.
