This is ground to a fine powder, easy to mix in with anything. It has a rich green color, and its taste isn't too fishy. I did prefer the taste of some Farmers out of Colorado who somehow get their spirulina to taste more nutty as opposed to sea-weedy. I do worry about how to tell which producer successfully avoid heavy metals being absorbed into the spirulina. The fact that this is labeled organic made me feel a bit safer.
