I hate blacheing hazelnuts. This saves me an hour of more of labor.

I prefer to buy the blanched hazelnuts and roast them myself because then I don’t have to contend with the skins that always taste bitter to me. These are lovely. You can also make hazelnut cookies by whirling them in the blender to make hazelnut flour.

Likewise, with all the in-shell nuts I feed my macaws, these are perfect for foraging and opening them for a treat.
