I was testing Finnish vs. Australian both red and black. Australian is equally flavorful but easier to chew. I think we'll go with that on next order.

These are my weakness. I'm on my 2nd bag and about to order a 3rd. I can't get enough. The texture is firmer than the Australian variety but not a hard candy. A strong anise flavor with just the right amount of sweetness.

These were not very soft and not super flavorful. Wouldn’t buy them again.

I guess I’m too used to twizzlers. These have an artificial taste that is neither cherry or strawberry. These taste more like Red Vines but with a softer, chewier bite. Not for me.

It’s a good licorice, but the flavor is a bit strong. I prefer the licorice’s bite in both texture and taste.

I really like licorice. This was some of the best I've ever had. Maybe tied for first. Really very good.

This candy has regular sweetener (expected & good), but ALSO SORBITOL! which was totally unexpected and leaves a bad aftertaste.

These is the real deal. Been looking for the right licorice, taste stays to the last bit. Very good texture, smooth and flavorful. It does not hurt my jaw chewing.

I really like that this is smooth, versus fluted. Taste is kinda blah to me, the first taste explodes, then quickly tapers off - sorta like chewing gum; at first the flavor bursts, then the taste quickly dissipates to nothing.

I thought the Australian red licorice was awesome; this is just as good if not better! So soft and fruity. Love it!

This was delicious but did not have the strong black licorice flavor I expected - almost more of a molasses-ish flavor. it's still delicious though.

Absolutely delicious! I thought the Australian Licorice was my favorite until I tried these. Very smooth flavor and texture that is out of this world! I have to ration them or I could easily go overboard.

This is a really good tasting licorice, slightly soft yet chewy as well. The licorice flavor is superb. Reminds me of the good old fashioned candy that I used to love before the evil corn syrup became the cheap sweetener of choice for most confectioneries. This candy gets it's sweetness from sugar beets. Whether they are gmo or not I don't know. I wish I could find a licorice with good organic ingredients.

I like the taste and texture

Not enough salt

I had to try this Finnish licorice because I hoped it was similar to Scandinavian salt licorice which is my absolute favorite. This licorice is very good, made with licorice root, and does not contain anise oil or anise flavor which to me makes it true licorice. It is not salt licorice, however, so I will have to keep looking for my favorite.

well they aren't bad but the taste is not as good as the Australian licorice and they are a little tougher chewing than the Aussie.. They aren't bad but I will stick to the Aussie.
