5/26 Meaty, delicious! Cooked slowly in crockpot with water, and salt i keep skins on when cooking. I remove skin after cooking. Skin not too thick and eatable. Tasty snacks when chilled too. Tastes kinda like potato but not starchy. Recommend .

Bigger that what I am used to using to make Ful Mendames; still the taste is there and they do cook up nice and creamy. Makes a great dish topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, spring onions, and a sauce of parsley, cilantro, onion, garlic and olive oil; and served with fresh made pita bread. I like to keep a bag in the pantry.
