Sourdough Bread Mix
Make a loaf of bread that’s just as American as apple pie with our sourdough bread mix. This tangy, savory bread was born out of the California Gold Rush, a staple among the camp of miners who traveled west and settled in San Francisco. We make creating a warm, golden loaf of sourdough at home a cinch with this simple mix. Compatible with bread makers.
**Please note that to make the traditional recipe, you must purchase at least two pounds of bread mix.

It would be nuce to have recipes to go with the mixKathy, Oxford, OH
I made this today and found the flavor to be very sour. The texture was good. I had to do a little math to figure out how to use it with my bread machine. So if anybody wants to know, one whole package makes a 1 pound loaf. Use 8 ounces of water and 2 1/2 teaspoons of yeast and keep an eye on it as you may have to adjust the water a little by adding a teaspoon at a time. If you have to add more flour, just add a little bit at a time. The flavor is just OK.Therese, Eastlake, OH
