This imported diced crystallized ginger is ideal for a spicy snack, cooking or baking, or a unique cup of tea. It is simply ginger root that has been dried and preserved with a sugar coating.
Crystallized ginger is pungent with a spicy-sweet flavor and is moist and chewy. It is embraced as a natural remedy for reducing hot flashes - huge numbers of women swear by it. It helps alleviate indigestion and colds…and don’t forget to take it with you on boat trips for sea sickness! (Some of us here know from experience that it’s an absolutely essential part of your travel kit…)
Interestingly, ginger itself is as old as the recorded history of man. A native to southern Asian and India, it is spoken of in the Jewish Talmud, written about by Marco Polo, and even recommended by Henry VIII as a remedy against the plague.

I have ordered this for several years. i eat a few throughout the day but my main reason is to put them in my tea. I have a nice hot cup of ginger tea each night before I get into bed. I put these into my cup of tea every night. Also if I have tea during the day. Ginger is very good for you and keeps your stomach healthy. These are just the best. Nice little snacks during the day too, as I walk by them on the counter
