Our Roasted Marcona Almonds, also known as the “Queen of Almonds,” are imported from Spain. Marcona almonds are shorter, rounder, softer and sweeter than the California variety. We carefully roast them to perfection in olive oil to bring out their rich flavor. Enjoy these flavorful roasted almonds without salt.
Marcona Almonds vs. Regular Almonds
Marcona almonds are prized for being more tender, sweet, and delicate than regular almonds, with a nice buttery flavor that is due to their high oil and moisture content. California almonds have been described as tasting more “woody” in comparison. Long used in Spanish cuisine, Marcona almonds are now gaining popularity among Americans. Marcona almonds contain the same excellent health benefits as all almonds, including cholesterol-lowering monounsaturated fats.

The simplicity of my favorite almond, the Marcona, merely roasted using a little olive oil is my idea of tasty joy. No salt, oils, herbs, or anything interfere in the taste and texture of the almond with these.

top of the line to eat. I like all the Macona Almonds. This is my favorite. I thought the roasting may decrease some vitamin value so tried others. Its hard not to keep this one at the top of my list. I enjoyed having the unroasted as well. This is a special treat that I spend money on that I would not for other treats. I hope the price either lowers or at least not go higher, higher and I will be loosing the feeling that I should order them.
