quite disappointing ;-( ordered these by mistake; will be more careful next time . . .I usually order the raw organic filberts, then roast them . . the dry roasted ones are, by comparison, very low on flavor

This saves me a LOT of time! Not only do I NOT have to stand at the grocery and pick out the hazelnuts from a stand of mixed nuts, but I don't have to crack them open or chop them, either! A definite time saver on Thanksgiving. (Making a broccoli hazelnut casserole as a side dish).

Have cracked 2 and ok but I am not sure they are fresh either.

I guess I'm just not that into Hazelnuts...

Delicious Hazelnuts. These nuts are very clean. No skins at all. Really nice since the skins only add a bitter taste ..

I buy these for my squirrels but I do snack on them occasionally. We all agree they are fresh, tasty and seem to last long after they are buried. Buddy , B2, Fawn and the gang give 10 big, bushy tails up.

No skins makes for taste I like the bitterness is gone. Also fresh fresh fresh. Notice I say fresh fresh fresh alot for my reviews of this company. It is because they are good and are fresh. Very important as I do not get salted nuts in general so the nuts need to be handled properly as unsalted ones age quicker.

Yum! I think this nut will be great in my holiday salad.

They don't taste fresh. Are they old? The writing on the packaging is illegible. It's been rubbed off with age. Maybe they'll taste better at another time.
