Mexican Altura is my favorite type of coffee so far, and Nut's coffee is a very high quality coffee. I find it nicely balanced and smooth, with a warm richness when made with a french press. Works well black, or with cream. IMO much more pleasant than the more acidic and bitter Colombian.

My husband and I enjoy this mix. I do wish the bags were bigger and price a bit lower though. We get through a bag of beans just in time to not get tired of the same thing over and over again. We like each type in the sampler...no favorite; they're all great!

This lighter dark roast is perfect for making my brewed ice coffee. It tastes great and keeps the full flavor even with my Jocko protein powder.

I keep coming back to this coffee. When brewed in a french press it gives a robust, smooth, enjoyable cup of coffee. I wouldn't say it has any particular stand out notes in my memory. And this isn't a bad thing. I personally despise unbalanced bitterness and really strong flavor notes can wear old quickly day by day. Its a very dependable "go to" everyday coffee for us types for whom the day doesn't start until coffee is had.
