These are the best. We love them for healthy snacking because we are dedicated to eating fruit each day. Research says that dried fruit has the same benefits as non dried fruit. It has a long shelf life and is transportable. We also make sure to eat only fruit without any added sugar.

Cali apricots are split in half and are drier, chewier and not as sweet as more common Turkish style apricots. I like these!

I bought them to make fried hand pies but kept snacking on them. They disappeared before I got around to making the pies.

My paternal grandmother made stewed apricots for me for Thanksgiving. I am going to use half the package for doing the same.
