Cannot believe anyone likes these; Texture of fluffy paper mache, bit of an unpleasant flavor, no hint of banana. I do like most of nuts.com products, but these go direct to garbage.

These plantains are great! Best part is that there aren’t an overwhelming amount of plantain crumbs at the bottom of the bag like you might end up with at a typical farmers market’s self serve station.

taste just like dried plantain not a banana. no banana taste at all However fortunately my golden retriever eats them so the pack isn't a complete waste.

Buy these for my dog. She loves them.

Makes excellent, fluffy, light, moist pancakes without complicated maneuvers. Pleasant , lightly sweet taste, no banana-ness to skew flavors, digests very easily in my cranky gut.

I have to be honest. I did not think they tasted a bit like banana. They probably deserve a higher rating because, for all I know, maybe they are supposed to taste the way they do. If that is the case, feel free to throw out this rating.

Terrific for snacking

This is an awesome snack that I feel good about. A light sweetness, natural and always fresh.

I love this flour. It has been the easiest to convert a recipe with.

A new favorite. Been using for a few months now. Been experimenting with gluten free baking, but want to stay as close to normal, 1 to 1 swap flours as possible. I use a lot of oatmeal flour and buckwheat flours for GF, as both are 1 to 1 swap with regular flour. Banana is not quite 1 to 1, but the texture of the final product is pretty close. I usually use a combo of the oatmeal &/or buckwheat with the banana. I've made mostly pancakes/waffles, but have added to a couple of GF cakes-not bad. Try this!!!

These were soft and inedible. Would not even give them to someone, had to toss.

I love these as extra taste in my morning cereal or just plain old snacks.

I've had banana chips but yours have no taste but it could be my fault because maybe I should of ordered the sweetened ones.

I love these chips. Great flavor and thick enough to stand up to hummus. The only con is that they are not consistent with the salt content. Sometimes it is just the right amount other bags taste like a salt lick.

Too sweet

Very little flavor and a bit oily from the coconut oil.

Unsweetened banana chips from nuts.com are my favorite snack. Especially with pecans and coffee. Everyone who tries them loves them too and asks me where I got them. I'm so happy they are prepared in healthy coconut oil not the unhealthy oils generly used in snack products, and no sugar! fattening if you eat a cup a day, but not if you eat 1/4 of a cup.

Made a bad assumption about a much higher-than-met residual fruit sugar taste for these chips. As goes the sugar, so goes the taste here. I think the taste is on a Par with the cardboard box they came in. So much for cutting calories.
