Not sure about this one yet. Eating right out of the bag hit my taste bud kind of weird. It was almost like a little bit of powdery citric-something had been sprinkled on it, slightly lemony, perhaps something to keep the slices from turning brown during production? Once that was gone, the banana flavor came through and it was delicious. The texture was a little uncomfortable to the tooth at first but I'm going to keep eating them and try to get past it. Those issues will probably go away when I use them in oatmeal, my original intent. I love the bananas & cream flavored instant oatmeal but it's only sold in a box of mixed flavors so I decided to make my own. I plan to rough-chop them up and add to my homemade oatmeal. Will post another review using them that way.

Love it. Made an apple oat bread and used banana flour in it. Loaf was dense but oh so good. Glad I tried it. I will be using it again.

These don't last long in my house. They are a delicious thick chip that can hold up to dip or hummus. Hard to believe they are a plantain. Not your average chip.

First time I tried them was pleasantly surprised. Just right amount of salt and not greasy.

They’re not kidding when they say “unsweetened.” Unlike other fruit chips, these don’t retain much if any sweet flavor. Great as a savory snack and with basically any type of dip though!

Giving the same review to all the freeze dried fruit I have purchased from Nuts.com...Excellent....great fresh taste that you can eat alone , or add milk like a cereal treat or other snacks like a trail mix ....and I love to be able to have this fresh fruit(freeze dried as may be ) around without it going bad anytime soon...the natural sweet to it , with no added anything is awesome....Thanks so much...

One of my all-time favorites. Not thin and bland like other brands, but nice thick pieces of that taste great and have the sweet and natural taste of a ripened banana. I reallu love that freeze-dried crunch. Nuts.com is my store for nuts and freeze-dried items.

I love these natural (not the organic, which I don't like because they are covered with powdered sugar, yuck!) freeze-dried banana chips. I buy something like 8 or even 10 pounds at a time and snack on them whenever I need a snack or a distraction!

Large full pieces, not small shrimpy ones like in the store

Years ago, we bought something very similar to this at an upscale grocery. They redid their store format and dropped them. We spent years trying to find something just as good. And the chocolate covered banana chips you get most places just are not as good. These are wonderful treats.

Definitely not as sweet as the normal banana chips, but more natural as made with coconut oil!

Not sweet, but very crunchy. Made with veg oil... I was hoping they were made with coconut oil, but I couldn’t find the ingredient list in the site.

Nice texture. Good flavor without the heavy sweet. Could be a tiny touch sweet. But great to offer unsweetened.

My favorite snack food! I just wish the organic ones came in unsweetened too.

these are good because they aren't coated in sugar like a lot of banana chips, however I did expect them to be a bit sweeter on their own. They actually taste a bit like a plantain chip and a potato chip. Good healthy snacking though.

I mistakenly thought that the unsweetened version would have at least tasted like a banana. My mistake, these are really, really bland. At least they are crunchy.

Can't imagine our home without these banana chips in it. Most of the time we walk around with a handfull of these munching happily away. Really like them.

A good,real banana,sugar sweetened that the birds hold with their foot while eating all around the edges,once around and then start the next one! If I didn't pick them up and give them back they would be gone in minutes!

Banana flour takes your baked goods to the next level, especially banana bread. Start with half the amount of flour the recipe calls for and slowly add more as needed.
