Dried mango can be tricky - sometimes it's nice and soft and others it's hard like leather. This particular batch is on the pleasantly soft side.

I did not realize this type would be like leather. You cant bite it, you have to cut it in 4 pieces and chew but the flavor is good. I didnt want all of that horrible amount of sugar like it was on the other dried mango. What I got with this organic dried mango is not something you sit down and have a few slices, you are lucky to get through 2 slices. In a pinch with power out or to take on a hike it would be excellent.

Fresh and tastes great; I like to pair it with the honey roasted peanuts and diced kiwi.

These are the BEST unsweetened dry mangos. My grandchildren especially love them.

Even with less sugar, these are a bit sweet for me. So...I take several pieces and put them in a bowl and cover with boiling water. After awhile, I drain of the water, put them on a paper towel to get the rest of the water off and I have mango slices that are quite near freshly sliced fruit!! YUM!

The mango is such a delicious dried fruit. I plan on ordering more when I have eaten the last yummy piece.

My granddaughter said I need to include nuts in my diet. The walnuts are a stable in my breakfast. I'm taking the mangos to same granddaughter tomorrow. Just talked to her and she is eagerly awaiting.
