Viennese coffee is so smooth, rich and aromatic, even non-coffee drinkers may be enticed! In a dark, Viennese roast, this rich coffee has a rich, almost chocolatey taste, slightly sweeter in taste than our Spanish Roast.
Exactly How Dark is a Viennese Roast?
A Viennese roast is in the middle of the spectrum, toward the lighter end. It is slightly darker than the light American roast, but not quite at the depth of a French Roast. Many roasters consider the Viennese one of the most difficult levels to master.
